I was born in 1985, and people give me shit because I tell them I'm a product of the 80's and 90's and love being retro like that. They of course say, I was probably too little to remember the 80's, I say that's false, reason being that the trends of the mid to late 80's didn't really truly die off until 1993 and a very large amount of shows I watched growing up happened to be in sydication.

I'm a 1984 guy. And no, I'm not that big of a George Orwell or Van Halen fan. They are both OK in small doses, though.

Yup, these last 4 years went by incredibly quick, even more so than the 2 years before it. Working full time does wonders.

Syd Lexia really should emphasize that extensive pop culture knowledge is not a requisite for joining the forum.

To be honest that was kind of the reason I almost didn't join, I thought I would be chastised because my knowledge of pop culture from the past is pretty minimal. Looking back now, I realize it was dumb to think that way but I will admit the thought crossed my mind.

I have to add myself to that list of not knowing much about pop culture. The only reason I'm here now is because I love the SNES.

Nice B-Day Meatloaf. And don't worry Random, I wasn't born in the eighties either. April 21, 1979 here.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

1983, but in the third world things always take a little more, so you could say that the early 90's was full of 80's for me.....
