So last weekend me and the wife decided to head out to the flea market downtown, and man was it disgusting. After updating my tetanus shot, grabbing the hand sanitizer and bottled water we headed out into a field of junk. Amongst the Haitians screaming at you to but some old Nikes, we found a few treasures, and for the 60 bucks I spent I added a few more games to the library. Flea markets seem to be a great place to score some video game gems, but you don't have to take my word for it...

Speed Racer sucked compared to any other racing game in 1997, but anyone who is a fan of Speed Racer enjoyed the game or still do, myself included.

Bravo for the presentation, the slideshow is slick!
Also, the TurboGrafx for $3 is quite the steal. I hope it works.

I love Flea Markets, I haven't been to one in years, but back when I was a teenager I used to go to the local one every month and steal to my heart's delight.

Lol, when I was there and I was holding a few games trying to haggle, the person selling would walk away to talk to someone else and I thought, hmmm. I couldn't do it, but I would imagine it is hard as hell for those people not to get ripped off.

I remember more times than not, the people who I might actually buy from would haggle and they would usually mess up. It would go something like this.
Me: "How much is this?"
Them: "That's $75"
Me: "I'll give you $50 for it"
Them: "How about $35?"
Me: "Deal!"
Them: "..."
Seriously, this happened at least 3 or 4 times to me over the course of several years.

There's a good, semi-clean, flea market out here, but I haven't been there in years. Last time I went, I picked up Mario Paint and an SNES mouse for $20.

Not a flea market persay, but the FYE at Rockingham Park Mall was having a sale on video games, with everything being either 25, 50, or 75% off marked price. This was on top of the already low clearance prices on PS2, XBox, GCN, and GBA prices. Long story short, I got Tekken 4 for $1 and the PS2 version of Viewtiful Joe for $2.50. Both games were in mint condition.
