I like to repeat jokes someone made three hours before me.
I want to edit this post to say what it originally said, but I'm afraid someone will get upset about OMG DELIBERATELY DEFYING THE MODZ! or something.

As yummy as it is I think it gets a bit too dry
I think maybe a bit of condensed milk poured over the top after cooking might solve it

Help me think of some horrible act to tie to 5 minute chocolate goodness, it begs to be a euphemism.

hey guys.
honestly, the idea of having a seperate forum for food is kinda stupid. I only mentioned it in my topic title as a jab at how people actually want one. it was supposed to be funny. I do not advocate the creation of a forum that is just for talkign about food.
seriously guys. |
Huh, funny to think that this is the same FNJ, and that that was only written in October... Do you just switch sides to whichever creates the most lulz? Or to whichever one pisses off the most mods? You're not exempt from the rules just for being FNJ, you know.

Not really. It's not like making posts about it is going to make a food forum magically appear, and it IS still a stupid idea to have one or expect one to be created. However, the idea of people requesting a food forum has become somewhat of an inside joke, so I was simply playing. I'm not quite sure how that constitutes "switching sides". Honestly it probably would have died after that one post, had someone with mod powers not felt the need to be a dick about it and get my bored ass enticed to continue.
Still, the idea that someone not only took the time to edit the post to be insulting, but did it twice, and then felt the need to carouse through posts from three months ago to try and start an argument amuses me highly; and really, at the end of the day isn't it all just about the lulz anyway?
There really isn't anything that should have pissed a mod off to begin with in what I said, especially considering a similar post above mine was unaltered. I'd have to say that means it's something personal that someone took out on me. secondly, I don't see how making a joke about a food forum goes against the rules to begin with, so I don't understand what I would be exempt from, even if I thought I deserved to be. If there IS something that I overlooked in the rulebook about that, I'd then have to bring to the jury's attention the fact that posts exactly like the one that I made have gotten by just fine in the past without their posters being accused of lacking "ass spincters", so again, it must be something personal.
Then again, this could all just be gaslighting, in which case the joke is on me. Good job, guys.

also, I don't feel like getting Hacker's topic locked over something this silly, so we could continue this in PM if you'd like. It's obvious what this is going to escalate to.

Worth noting that monachetti's post was edited, at the same time your first post was. Also, if you're assuming it was me who edited those posts, you're way off. I'm only an op in the chatroom, I'm not a mod here.
I figured Syd saying "Shut the fuck up about the food forum" in all caps in the past would've been a good idea to anyone that the joke has long since died, and very few people find it funny anymore. And if you wish to continue, you know where to find me, I'm always there.
...Also amuses me that you double posted instead of simply editing your last post, double posting almost never gets called around here, but it is technically against the rules, you know.
