Here's a teaser poster for the third playable character.

The news on this game is getting increasingly interesting and awesome. I look forward to the release.

Watch it be Dr. Light.

I must be honest the first time i heard about Megaman was on this site. They never really released many of the Megaman games in Europe. So here was the first i heard of it.

As far as i know the only Megaman game not released here was Megaman 6.

That's also not a real game. It was done in a movie maker as a proof-of-concept. No actual program for it exists.

Which is a shame. I remember someone else posting that video ages ago and I believed it to be genuine. I'd gladly buy that game if it ever came out.

That game would be AAA-rated if Capcom would make it for Wiiware/XBLA/PSN.

and that's fine. I simply said that it was more impressive. It also shows that you can still have a classic game but make it take advantage of the new technology, as opposed to these half assed "retro-sequels".

oh yeah, and supposedly it was originally supposed to be a game, but teh guy who made these proof of comcept vids needed someone to code them. now he found one.

considering the trailer is fairly recent, it might be worth the time to email the guy. I'll do that this week and see if he says anything.

What i mean is that the games didn't have the legendary popularity that they seem to have in Japan and Europe.

Nobody i knew when i was younger had heard of Megaman. It wasn't really a huge franchise.

Most people here either played Mario or Sonic.

Why are the release dates for the different consoles so spread out? Dammit, now I won't be able to play this game for a whole month!

I seriously need to buy my own Wii. MM9's controls freaking sucked on the 360.

So, I'm sure I'm not the only one who remembers the old Nintendo Power Mega Man Create-A-Robot-Master contest, and I'm sure someone out there has brought this up already... But, really, Capcom? You're still dipping into that old well for Robot Master ideas?

I think he looks okay, but I think he'd look alot better if he didn't have a blade for a head.
