I was just wondering if anyone here collects them, I have been collecting them for the past little while but but have lost interest and I could use a bit of extra cash. I would like to get around ebay value, but I'm always willing to negotiate. All games are in good working condition, I havn't had any problems with any of them. I can accept any kind of payment and am set up for paypal.

Chrono Trigger
FFII
FFIII
Secret of Mana
Illusion of Gaia
Sim City
Star Fox
Act Raiser 2
TMNT IV: Turtles in Time
Super Star Wars
Zombies Ate My Neighbours!
Cybernator
Super Mario Cart
Wolfenstein 3D
Street Fighter

Thanks for the look.

Thanks for bringing that up, I should have added that I only have the carts so I'm looking at somewhere in the ballpark of ebay cart prices.

I have some SNES carts from when I was a little kid, but I've been collecting them for the past few years, along with Sega Genesis carts.

If I had extra money I'd take that copy of Star Fox off your hands.

I have a very small collection but they're my games so I love them. I'll expand on it later.

-Ken Griffey, Jr.'s Winning Run
-NBA Jam
-Super Mario World
-NHL 94
-Star Fox
-Street Fighter II

Ba'al, you can find a copy of Star Fox on eBay for like 5 bucks.

I look at that list and See three games I got for 5 bucks either on clearance (ZAMN, SimCity) or at a garage sale (Final Fantasy III) but that's a great list

Your "collection" is worth about 150 bucks via Ebay. I do NOT collect SNES games, however I do own a large amount as that is my favorite system. If you want to sell them, I will pay 100 cash via PayPal if interested. Let me know. But it would help to see a pic as to know the condition of the labels, as I am anal retentive as a game owner.

Me too. I bought a bunch of Wii games off Douche, and they were all in excellent condition. Only problem is, his copy of Manhunt 2 had been bought at Gamestop and had a giant USED sticker stuck on the spine. Not on the plastic either, on the actual piece of paper the box art and stuff was printed on. I attempted to steam it off, but ripped the packaging. After that, the game was dead to me. I threw it out and bought a sealed copy off eBay.

I'd rather buy it from someone who would need money than off of Ebay though.

This is the exact reason I hate shopping for used games off of GameShit, my used copy of F-Zero GX has like five unmovable stickers on it. It really makes me wish I had kept my clean and new copy that I had before selling it.

Some my collection of games that I play. I hate the word collection, Games are meant to be played, not stored on a shelf to look pretty.

This!

Excuse me from drifting from topic, but I bought a still-wrapped copy of Resident Evil 0 from a used game store for ten bucks. I love and hate it at the same time; I love it because it gives me a chance to unwrap a video game years after that game leaves the stores; I hate it because that game never got played by the previous owner.

No Earthbound, I did have it but i gave it to my nephew. I have about 80 of the SydLexia top 100. My goal one time was to collect all 100 and beat them all within a year, maybe I'll finish it someday.

we have to put the stickers right on the paper. if we don't, people take the paper out and put it in the case for a cheaper game to try to get a discount.

we have to put three stickers on every used game, one over the barcode so that it rings up as used instead of new, one on the front with the price, and the one on the paper to stop people from being sheisty that I mentioned.

we could probably do without the sticker over the barcode, but then it would take longer to ring people up, then people complain that they don't want to stand on line for an additional four seconds. we could also do with only one sticker on the paper and not one on the case, but then people would trade games in with fucked up cases, then buy other games with nice cases by switching the paper.

contrary to popular belief, we don't just do things at gamestop to be a bunch of assholes. we have to do what we do BECAUSE of assholes. you can't please everyone though.

if you compare the newer gamestop stickers to the older EB stickers, you'll notice that the gamestop stickers are made in such a way to be easier to peel off usually. We did this because we understand that people want nice looking copies of games, but at the same time, we have to do things a certain way for business. hell, remember when EB would put stickers on the instruction booklet too?

if you're really upset about the stickers all over the case, just ask one of the guys behind the counter for a fresh case. we keep some blank cases around for when assholes trade games in without cases, and usually we're more than happy to give you one if you ask. same thing with people bitching about the condition of the used games that they buy. ask to see the disc, and if it's really bad, the guy behind the counter will usually take a moment to search out a better one so that you leave the store happy and willing to shop there again.

when we take games back, we eye the underside of the disc for it's condition. if it looks decent we take it back, if it looks fucked up, we take it back defective and send it to a factory for refinishing. I notice people trade in fucked up games, then come back another day and buy games and complain about their condition, despite the fact that used games come with a money back guarantee for the first seven days and an even exchange for a month after that. once again, if assholes took better care of the games that they were trading in, other customers wouldn't suffer as much.

we could test out every single game before accepting it for trade, but then lines would be out the door and impatient people would complain. we could just flat out refuse games that aren't in perfect condition, but then people would complain that we won't accept their trades. we could take every game back, then send it to the factory for testing and touching up, but then it would take forever and people would complain that we never have copies of games that they want. you can't please everyone.

This isn't a complaint about Game Stop, it's a complaint about idiots who trade in games without the cases. I never understood how people can manage to lose the game case/manual. Back in the NES days, when your game came in a shitty cardboard box, sure, I can understand losing that. Hell, I threw those boxes out right after opening them. You didn't keep your games in those. You bought special boxes for your NES games, or just left them stacked by the TV in the dust sleeves. But game cases these days are designed to store the game. And the manual should be in there, because you should never have to look it. I don't understand how someone ends up trading Ikaruga - Game Disc Only to Game Stop or putting it on eBay. How did you lose the game/manual? What, are you fucking retarded or something?

I could never understand that either. What would tick me off more was when I saw they had a game I wanted with out the box cheap, I brought the empty case up, they scanned and said they couldn't find it...

I bought the used F-Zero GX I got at an EB, but it was during the long after and current time where it was basically a zombie store operated by GameStop. I brought up their web sites being identical before once.
