And holy shit the music is incredible.
However, my enjoyment is slightly hampered by the fact that while the presentation is very similar to Chrono Trigger, the game is very much not Chrono Trigger. And what's with this not being able to walk diagonally bullshit? I'm sure I will get over these minor complaints once I get more into the game (this happening already). Just thought I'd share that I was beginning a journey I'm sure all the rest of you undertook many years ago.

You couldn't walk diagonally in any of the previous five games, either. Also, it predates Chrono Trigger by a year.

Excellent. It's still my favorite Final Fantasy. The soundtrack is absolutely profound. Very tasty.

You're not supposed to be able to walk diagonally in any of the old school RPG's. Seriously though that is one of the best games ever made.
