so, i have issues now. my comp finally got fixed but now my monitor is dead. nothing will turn on. even the base light that indicates there is power is dead. if i unplug the power cord and plug it back in, the light will turn on for a second then die out again.

i checked the blue 15-pin connector cable and there is 1 pin missing on each end. i dont think that would make a difference, but can anyone tell me if it would make a difference or not?

and if anyone can direct me to a cheap flat monitor i would also appreciate it
