Cantaloupe is the shit. Watermelon tends to be flavorless and honeydew, well it's hard to find a good honeydew. A good cantaloupe kicks the shit out of any other melon. Selection is the key to finding any good melon.
It's probably the Mexican in me, but adding chili powder really adds flavor to watermelon

I haven't had watermelon in years, but I specifically remember loving it. Honeydew is mediocre, and every time I've had canteloupe it's had no flavor whatsoever (as in water-flavored fruit).
