anyone mention twin snakes yet?

I played this at a friend's and I don't know if it was the TV or the game, but it was incredibly dark and hard to see. Also, the new voice overs lack the intensity that the original had.

But if you don't have a PS1, I guess I would suggest getting it.

snake backflipping off of a missile that was fired at him from a helicopter so that he can use the added leverage to fire his own missile and destroy the helicopter singlehandedly was at least worth mention.

Psycho Mantis should say "I heard you liek Mudkips" if there's a Pokemon Colliseum save on your memcard. That would be awesome.

I have NEVER had MM or OOT freeze on me on the Gamecube. The other problems, if they exist, are barely noticeable.

Also, I don't specifically remember about MM, but OOT has rumble support intact, as it's a semi-important game feature. Apparently the VC version doesn't.

The rumble is intact in MM as well. The glitches are not gamebreakers, but they could be quite annoying. I have had one freeze during my only playtrough, which is not so bad i guess, but the framerate is terrible at times, and even worse is the music when going between certain places. All in all it can be annoying, but the GC version is definitely worth picking up, especially if you, like me, have ruined all your N64 controllers.

I never noticed any framerate problems at all..just a bit of sound skip going in and out of town. Such a wonderful game, think i might have to play it tonight!

I'm plowing through OoT in my off hours, not looking forward to the eventual dreaded water temple.

The problem with the Gamecube is that the system is usually cheaper than the good games you can get for it.

Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem.

... I don't think I need to say much about this. It's good... and it deserves praise for being some sort of "Whole game with Psycho Mantis inside your head" experience.

It's too late now because you haven't been PAYING ATTENTION.

3 pages and no Beyond Good and Evil? What is this world coming to...?

BG&E is one of the most underrated games ever made. Play it.

Also, Super Monkey Ball is loads of fun, single or multi-player.

And, of course, Wind Waker, RE4, Smash, etc.

BG&E is multiplatform, so we were just trying to focus on GCN exclusive games

Ah, alright. I actually forgot it was multiplatform.

I still stand by my recommendation of it, however.

Keeping it green, I'll just add on to this topic. I bought a GCN adapter that plays gameboy/color/gba games. I bought Mega Man Zero, but what else should I be on the lookout for? (Editor's note: Please don't say Oracle of Seasons/Ages; I have too many Zeldas across all platfroms that I haven't gotten to yet.)

This is where Syd and the gang need to step-up and get beyond the NES and SNES Top 100...I need guidence.

In regardes to GBA games, Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga is very enjoyable.

Going back to the GCN, get Freeloader, the region-breaking boot disc. Then get:

Hudson Selection Vol. 4: Adventure Island
DreamMix TV World Fighters

I know. I want Twin Snakes, The Zelda Collection Disc, Twilight Princess, and the HD component cables. All of those each cost more than I paid for the system.

The component cables are ridiculous! They go for like 70-100.

I gotta step up and bat for gamestop again here and say that for 20 bucks they sell universal component cables that work on PS2, Gamecube, and X-Box.
