So this comes out tomorrow, and it looks pretty good. I don't really know much about it, but it's got Denzel Washington fighting people with machetes and Gary Oldman so I will most certainly rent it in a few months. Thoughts?

I'm also looking forward to it. I got a couple of movies to catch up on though so I don't know when I will incorporate this into my movie day

I took a quick look at it over on metacritic and was surprised to see it had a 43.

yeah i was suprised at its low critics rating on rottentomatoes cause i think it looks neat for post apocalyptic. but then i think the road would beat it out based on realism alone. but as a fantasy/scifi movie it does look good

I'm psyched. There's not enough pro-Bible movies. Also, Gary Oldman is awesome. And Denzel in a straight-up action movie? Has that ever happened?

All of a sudden there are a bunch of movies I want to see, I've seen conflicting reviews on this one but how can Denzel + Gary Oldman + Post-apocolyptic action be bad?

Why the hell won't The Road come to theatres in my area?

If you've read the book, watching that movie will make you cry on the inside.
