oh yeah, I have twilight princess and spirit tracks sitting here but I haven't palyed them. I'm in no hurry either. I only got twilight princess to use it for hacking my wii so I could play tatsunoko vs capcom, and I stole spirit tracks from work.

My story is similar to Syd's, except I never beat the early Zelda games either. I played them all as a kid, but never finished them. I've never played OOT or MM.

The first Zelda game I managed to sit through all the way to the end was Windwaker, ironically the least liked game in the series by most people, but I loved it. A few years after that, I went back and beat LoZ on an emulator. And that's it so far.

Like Syd, I got about 80% through Phantom Hourglass, but put that game down for the last time after seeing I had to go through the fucking ocean temple AGAIN. Fuck. That.

I bought Twilight Princess about two years ago, and still have only played a few hours into it. I just hate playing on the Wii with its gimmicky BS.

I recently bought LttP and Minish Cap on GBA to play on my DS, so I'll definitely be completing those as soon as I can get around to it.

I've played/own the original, 2, Link to the Past, Links Awakening, Ocarina of Time, Master Quest, Majora's Mask, Minish Cap, Wind Waker, Phantom Hourglass, and Twilight Princess. I've beaten Awakening, Ocarina, and Wind Waker.

I've realised one of the reasons I haven't beaten more of them is because of the Water Temples. I was stuck in Ocarina's Water Temple for the longest time, and after that I pretty much breezed through the rest of the game. Not only that, but I'm currently stuck at the Water Temple in Majora and I was stuck in Twilight's Water Temple for a long time. I also remember the Link to the Past and Awakening Water Temples giving me trouble. In Link to the Past I'm actually at the Final Temple, but I just can't beat it. I actually have an inside joke with a buddy of mine where every time we see eachother, we yell "WATER TEMPLE!" and fet weird looks from everyone around us.

Sorry for going off like that.

Also, just to receive more OMG, WTFs. I have never beat any Megaman games, and if fact only ever played the original.

Platformers just aren't my thing, and I get bored with them. Castlevania is the only exception to this rule. (Though, I did play and beat all the Marios up through 64.)

I only ever beat or cared about Megaman 1-3, so don't feel bad. The rest of the sequels just seemed rehashes or lackluster.

I have beaten Zelda 1, Link to the Past, Ocarina and Twilight Princess. Majora's Mask was always overrated to me so I quit playing it. For some reason, it just never felt like a Zelda game. It felt like a spinoff of some sort. Part 1 I didnt have too much trouble with, Link to the Past took me awhile and Ocarina took me quite awhile. Twilight Princess was so engaging that it didnt take me long to beat it either primarily because I played it for about 4 hours a day.

It's really not THAT bad except for a few things.

1. Fishing...if you're trying to catch the Hylian Loach, you're gonna come close to breaking your arm.

2. Whenever you switch to the bow and arrows, boomerang or clawshots, it's probably not going to show up on the screen right away and usually have to move the Wiimote around, a real pain in the ass on those flying lizards with the shields.

3. Performing a spin attack seems hard nowadays as well...playing through again it sometimes takes me 4 or 5 times to execute.

4. Play on a NORMAL TV. HDTVs suck. On a normal TV, I very very easily cleared the fruit gathering game in the cave. On the HDTV, it took me around 30 tries. It's not that I sucked at the game, it's that the fucking Wiimote would always somehow go off screen despite me not moving that much, of course the fucking bird collides with anything and you're fucked...so I died so many times because of the goddamn motion controls. This is really the only part in the game that severely fucked me over.

Jesus...I hear ya. LttP had a pretty difficult Water Temple, but the prize has to go to Twilight Princess. I really hate that Temple, especially with those fucking armored pigs that charge you. Despite having the easiest end boss, this temple took me a fucking month to complete...raising and lowering the water was a pain in the ass..as was the fact that the center room branched off and every door looked exactly alike, so if you don't map out where certain things are...you're going to spend a long time going through each room again. And I really like Majora's Mask's Water Temple...the one I hate most in that game is the Stone Temple.

Beat Zelda I,II, and III. Never played a Zelda after that. Probably beat the first one hundreds of times. Only beat the second one once(didn't like it as much). Beat LttP a few times. Never played a newer one. I'm just an older guy. Those new 64 bit graphics are just to big and scawey for me.

My list is small. I've only beaten Zelda's I, II, III and OoT. I tried Windwaker, but I hated the sea travel. III is my favorite Zelda game, possibly video game ever, but 1 is a close 2nd because 2nd quest was so completely different and challenging it was like playing a sequel on the same cartridge.

Zelda is one of those games where if I don't think I am going to have time to get to have any real playing time, I don't bother. I went through the first part of OoT several times. I loved it. But for some reason or another, something would come up and I wouldn't get to play it for a while, then I would forget what the hell was going on and feel the need to start over. So I never beat it.

I've beat the hell out of the first one. I've probably beat it 50 times, no exaggeration. I've beat the second quest (not many times). I've also beat several quests from Zelda Classic. The thing that is tough is that when people make custom maps, you never know where shit is going to be. For example, the wooden sword could be anywhere on the map (or dungeons). But the original is my second favorite and I have probably played it more than any other game aside form SMB1.

I've beat Zelda II one time. I don't think it is nearly as hard as it was when I was younger, but the last dungeon is still a bitch.

LttP is probably my favorite game ever (it's at least in my top 5). I've beat it several times.

I haven't played anything after OoT. I owned Wind Waker when it came out, but I never got around to it and then I loaned my Game Cube to my sister in law and only got about half my games back (crammed in one case. WTF happened to the empty cases?) and this wasn't one of them.

As for Mega Man, I had only beat 2 of them, so one day I decided to go through them all in order. I think I got to 5 or 6 before I got burned out.

Wait, what? Is it because of the controller? Because it's the easiest in the series IMO, except maybe for 2.

I don't know, cause I found it so difficult that it wasn't even fun, and I really haven't had a problem with any of the old megaman games.

Beat Mega Man 1-6 and Mega Man X. Played 7 and X2, but never beat them. I guess I just figured enoughs enough with the Mega Man already.

I really disliked the first Zelda for the same reasons Vald expressed in the top 100. I sort of enjoyed it while playing through with a video guide, but it just got boring having to switch windows every few seconds.

LttP was pretty fun, and gave me and my dad some good together time when I was younger (he had long workdays, which resulted in five minute games of catch until it got dark, then late-night SNES sessions).

I started games of the Ocarina, Majora, and Wind Waker, and Wind Waker seemed like the only appealing one for me. I'm going to buy a Gamecube next week, and it'll be with the first batch of games I get.

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Well, my self esteem is too high today, time to lower it with some good old fashion laughs at my expense. OoT water temple completion time: 2 years.
