Her sig reminds me of a comedy skit I once saw. Possibly on Upright Citizens Brigade....It was a 50s Science film done in the Middle Ages talking about the explanation of stars.....

I think I know what you're talking about, as I thought of it too. It's a Mr. Show skit. They also go through the process of turning theories into old wives' tales which includes the King talking to his menagerie of birds and drowning the wizard.
