Of course, but at least we got him in Super Punch-Out. But King Hippo, Glass Joe and many others were sadly missing.

Seems like Nintendo's really trying to please it's core today. Good for them.

However, if Punch Out uses motion in any way they can keep it.

If I even hear that nintendo fucked up the new punch out game, I'm going to punch them out.

It better have: Glass Joe, Piston Hurricane, Soda Popinski, Don Flamenco, King Hippo, Bald Bull, Mr. Sandman, Super Machoman, and Mike Tyson (I know it ain't gonna happen). They can ditch all of the stupid Super Punch Out characters because a lot of them sucked anyway. BTW, before some of you claim Piston Hurricane is not from the original Punch Out, do your research.

The Wii Punch-Out is a straight-up remake of the original NES game. So all your favorite villains will return. Well, mostly. There's no word on whether the game will feature Tyson or Mr. Dream. It's possible that the game will forgo the dream match, like the original Famicom version.

One thing I always wondered was if Soda Popinski was a victim of censorship. An old stereotype about Russians is that they're alcoholics, and it seems to be in NoA's pattern of behavior to remove alcohol from a game, and give him some stupid-ass, borderline ethnist name.

Either that or I assume that anything innocent in an NES isn't. Princess Peach was probably a Hooters girl in the Japanese version.

No, but her model in Brawl is strangely suited for upskirts. Normally you don't texture THAT far up a character's skirt.

Is there a release date for S&P2 yet? Most sites still say Q1 2010. You'd think we'd have a specific release date by now, being as WE'RE FUCKING IN Q1 2010 RIGHT NOW.

Amazon currently lists the release date as December 2011. Um... WHAT?

I'd say Q1 2010 is about right, being we're only 7 days into the year.

It came out in Japan on 10/29, so it's only a matter of time now...

Other games that were originally billed as Q1 2010 (Fragile, No More Heroes 2, CvT) now have specific release dates.
