Yes, you can now get black Wiimotes, Wii Motion Pluses, and Nunchuks. In Japan, black Classic Controllers are also available. No black Wiis yet though.
Remember the N64/GCN days, when you could get your controller and consoles in any goofy color you wanted?
Oh, I remember getting a green 64 set for Christmas once. I stared at it for a second and asked myself, 'Green? What happened to Gray?' But I embraced it--goofy colors ftw. They need to go back to random colors.

The UK recently had a limited edition Black Wii bundle that came with a copy of Wii Sports Resort and a Motion Plus:
I always wanted see-through green. My N64 controllers were standard gray, see-through red, see-through dark green, and see-through black. Two of those are broken now.
Didn't they have a bunch of different colored Wiis and Wii-motes at an E3 or something several years back? Why are we just now getting only black? The paint job can't be that difficult.

The Black Wii should have a black stand. Just saying.
I always wanted one of those neon blue see-through conrtollers.
I think you're talking about atomic purple but it was a kick ass color and I remember wanting an atomic purple see-through Game Boy Color.

I'd buy a black if all the blue lights were neon green.

Not that I have a problem with white, but I would've gladly taken a black Wii (or a RED one, for that matter) over a white one.
The CC Pro looks pretty cool.

Never seen it. But now I'm gonna look it up, of course. Damn curiousity.

I remember when they first told us about different colored Wiis and controllers.
Back in fucking 2006.
And now we're at the tail end of 2009, and we get A color...black. Thanks guys.

black is technically not a color.
alright, thats enough of username being anal.
i agree though, a different color scheme would be nice. white is so sterile. boring. unimaginative.
most nerds have their room decor in black anyhow, so why would they not release it sooner.

Apparently Nintendo doesn't really care about it's customers--it just wants an outlet for their bat-shit crazy ideas, and we happened to exist.

There's no excuse now. But back when they were selling them faster than they could make them, it made more sense to only make the one color. More colors were eventually promised, and we're just starting to see them now.
To be fair, the colored N64 consoles didn't come until late in the system's life. You could get colored controllers right off the bat, but colored consoles weren't available until several years later.

The original black/dark gray was available from launch in late 1996.
The Jungle Green came out with the Donkey Kong 64 bundle in 1998 or 99.
Same with the limited edition Zelda N64 that was gold. 1999
Then in 2000 you have the "Funtastic Series" of Fire Orange, Grape (or Atomic) Purple, Ice Blue, Jungle Green, Smoke Grey and Watermelon Red.
And, the "Hey You, Pikachu!" edition was also in 2000.

The Pikachu one was Orange in Japan, Blue & Yellow in NA/EUR.
And, I already listed the gold one.

The Pikachu N64 was horrible only because it was incredibly hard to sell a used one.
Butch/Rich College Kid - "Got any 64's I wanna relive my childhood over break."
Me - "Yea we got one left."
B/R CK - "Alright I'll take that 3 controllers, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Mario Party 2, Donkey Kong 64, Perfect Dark and an Expansion pack."
Me - "Alright all together that will be $212.00"
B/R CK - "Can I see the system?"
Me - "Sure. (opens box) OH MY GOD!" (shows B/R CK)
B/R CK - "...(awkwardly looks at me then back at the box then back at me) Call me when you got a normal one."
Me - "You bet..."

I was still forming that post while you posted your info about the gold N64s.
