i just saw "Looking for Richard" w/Al Pacino.
its a documentary/making-of movie about trying to understand Richard III and why its not so accessible to the mainstream audience. it was very fun and interesting. i got to learn about history and i got to see actors rehearse a very good play.
anyone else ever catch this? |
I adore that move. Al's not my favorite actor (I've just never been a fan of method acting, with the exception of Willem Dafoe--but he's more "batshit insane" than a method actor

), but he's still incredibly skilled. Plus I love Richard III. Great play, and AMAZING character. Second only to Iago in the pantheon of "Great Shakespearean villains I wish I was the proper gender to play."
