He was, in fact, very embarassed about that horrible swimsuit he wore...and so was anyone else who saw the movie.
The action sequences rule, and the story is actually not laughable (not AS laughable as pierce's and timothy's).
I don't recall the swimsuit being an issue.
And no one laughed, because the last third of the movie confused the hell out of everyone. Then it just turned out to be much more simple than we all suspected. As long as a man with his cat appears in the next one, I will continue overlooking that last half hour.
