Hey guys, i got my Usb - PS controller connector today so I'm fired up for playing some games i haven't played before. I wouldn't normally ask but i had a mind freeze in what to play since there is soo much.
Any recommendations? Most likely for NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbografx etc.
Not really looking for PS1/N64 upwards stuff it would take too long to download and too much space etc.
I know someone will think to direct me to NES and SNES top 100 but there are some games not on their you may enjoy and therefore i may enjoy. Recommend as you will.
For the record i've already tried Castlevania (Which i am enjoying), Ghosts and Goblins (I haven't got off level one..) and Megaman 2 and 3 which i must say maybe it's the controller but i think they play alot better than the first one which i got from the wii store, it seems i dunno different.
Anyway fire ahead.

Ooooooh. I remember Yoshi's Island. It was (in my opinion, at least), an excellent blend of 'childish' themes and textures with a story that would break any mother's heart (just ask mine... She can't get enough of getting Baby Mario and Luigi back to the parents. -gags-). Plus, the final boss is terrifying. Playing that as a kid, I had nightmares.

there was also a tennis game that had an RPG quest mode, but I can't remember it's name, it might have just been "tennis"

You know, no one ever recommends Dashing Desperadoes for the genesis. So, I'll recommend it.

Maybe because it sucks?
Haha, nah I've never heard of it. It must be good though if the news anchor himself says so.

I don't care how awful the games are to be honest.
I actually love playing shit games to see how and why something like it would be so poorly made.

I'm like you, I rather like playing shitty games. I like playing them with other people though, so we can make fun of them the whole time.

same here. but in that instance, i'd rather be the observer instead of the player, cause i'll probably get frustrated

I'd recommend trying out Total Recall on NES then, most hilarious bad game I've ever played.
