Been a while since I goofed around with GIFs, but I bet the white is actually just pulling whatever background color there is, which in the case of this forum is black.
Not sure of the technicalities but I bet you can go in and replace the clear with white.
Any suggestions from more technical members?

After I made the post, I realized the exact same thing  I have no clue how to fill the white in.

If it's four frames you could screen shot each frame (if you're a glutton for tedious bullshit) and re color it white and re upload it on gifninja, but it looks to be more that 4 frames...
