Back in the day, I used the shit out of my GB camera and GB printer, it was great. I would make little stop motion animations and such, very awesome. Kids are just to god damn uncreative these days.

Right. Those have only just been announced, so as I said, there are still no DSi exclusive games out yet, and won't be for another 3-6 months at least. |

Ah, well the official website needs to update because it says Q1 2010 there.
Anyway, my original statement about it's quality stands consdering the terrible reviews it's getting. Definitely not something to buy a DSi for.

Isn't your PC not enough to access the internet with? And you can access the internet too on the DS Lite, it's jsut a seperate cart which you can get for like $20 used.

Why not just buy a used a GBA and a bunch of GBA games then? |
Because no backlight is total suckage. I don't know how we played games on such dim, lifeless screens all the way until 2003.
The better choice is to spend $100 on a DS Lite, enjoy the entire DS library as well as the entire GBA library, and feel good that you spent the extra $50 you saved on games rather than a stupid camera. |
I do not even consider the original GBA a real system. I always forget it even exists. SP is the only GBA.

What if I have six people in my house and one PC? Nothing wrong with having additional outlets like laptops, netbooks, smartphones, DSis....and isn't buying an extra cart cutting the price gap making the DSi even more favorable? and searching quickly, I couldn't find it used for $20.

i use my ipod touch at home since my PC is currently on the fritz. or if my nephew is using my ipod, i use my PSP.
granted, i'd rather use my comp, but its still nice to have an additional option when your main one is out
