Next up:
Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law - Superhero-turned-laywer Birdman takes to the courtroom to defend fellow classic cartoon characters. Funnier than it sounds.
Garfield and Friends - The famous comic cat having animated adventures, and unlike the comic, it's actually funny. Also stars characters from a more obscure Jim Davis strip, U.S. Acres.
G.I. Joe - Special forces team G.I. Joe take on terrorist organization Cobra in an effort to stop them from taking over the world. And to sell toys.
The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show - Various comedic shorts hosted by and starring Rocket J. Squirrel and Bullwinkle J. Moose. One of the first shows to appeal to multiple demographics.
Sorry, I'm tired, the description thing just ain't me tonight.

Oh jeez...Harvey was either hilarious or downright terrible.
Garfield is nothing like Heethcliff. And that to me is sad since Garfield is more popular.
GI Joe...loved the toys...never really followed the show much.
Rocky and Bullwinkle...eh...the Hanna Barbera style animation was never my thing
Eh...I think I'm going to have to go with Garfield

The only cartoon I like here is Harvey Birdman. It is pretty good, but there is no way it is making another round after this one.
Everything else is schlock.

Yeah, I know they didn't create them. But they're mostly familiar with that animation style...that's what I meant.

Holy crap, Rocky and Bullwinkle needs to win this!
A show that could keep parents and kids entertained together and a show that takes on a whole new meaning when you understand all the references and points that were made during its run.
What other show can offer that?

Sad thing is I used to watch the original Birdman on Cartoon Network when I was younger... more so then Rocky and Bullwinkle on TNT or TNN or whatever it was.

I vote Birdman and god I hope it wins. No one seems to appreciate how incredibly awesome that show is.

I cannot believe GI Joe is third. It takes my vote, and I hope Garfield advances with it.

As a child of the 80s, I'm almost duty bound to vote for GI Joe but the sad truth is, I never watched it nor did I really get into the toys. And I hated Bullwinkle. Rocky was a little shit and the show was so dumb.
I also have bad memories of meeting with the head of my department when I was still a communications major in college, and his office was literally plastered with Rocky and Bullwinkle memoribilia. I couldn't focus on anything else when talking to the guy. Giant moose heads and fucking Rocky plates, and weird Boris and Natasha banners. Absolutely bizarre.
However, when I was in high school, Garfield was on every single morning after Beast Wars and my daily routine was watching Garfield with my bowl of cereal before school. So that wonderful bit of nostalgia gets my vote.

Between the low support for Captain N and now GI Joe, I am worried about your site's rep Syd.

Fair enough, but the picture is too good not to use.
I went with Rocky and Bullwinkle on the assumption Garfield is gonna advance anyways. Gotta respect the classics.

at any rate, im voting for Joe. its an awesome action cartoon. the movie was the tits.
garfield wasnt bad, and i remember watching it every morning as a kid, but i never cared for the farm animals (US Acres i think they were called)
rocky & bullwinkle is a great cartoon. kind of ADD before ADD was the norm, but i hated their never ending story arc. did it ever reach a conclusion?
and i harvey birdman was hit or miss w/me. some episodes were great, while others were total crap

Animaniacs? A little, but I don't recall it dealing with more serious subjects.
And yeah, they do end. I own season one and two. The first story arc is the longest and oh boy, is it long. Half of each segment discusses what has already happened.
But I still love it, the other segments were great too.

This is the toughest group for me so far. I really liked, and want to vote for all four.
Harvey Birdman is my kind of humor. I love it. If I were in charge of making a cartoon, this is the kind of cartoon it would be.
Though I liked Heathcliff better, I really liked Garfield too. I like it a lot, but probably won't vote for it.
GI Joe was a huge part of my childhood. I probably had around a hundred figures (action figures, not the dolls). I had a bunch of vehicles and accessories. It was probably my favorite toy line. It is no coincidence that I also loved the cartoon. It will be hard to not vote for this.
I get tired of the old timers telling us how good stuff like Rocky & Bullwinkle was. Kind of like how kids today probably get sick of how we are always talking about how good our generation of cartoons were. But unfortunately the kids today have to put up with crappy remakes and sequels of our generation. But with Rocky & Bullwinkle, the praise was justified. It is easily the most underrated show by the younger generations. It probably has had more of an influence over later cartoons than most of the shows in this contest. It deserves my vote, but unfortunately, it is in a tough group.
I will probably either go GI Joe or Harvey Birdman. Not sure yet.
