Anyone (GP) know how to convert a .avi to .wmv? There's a lot of shit I know I've done before but never do it enough to remember how.

I got a question for you guys, does anyone know what SMV format is? Because that's the type of video file that can only be played on my new Mp4. I'd like to know some converting sites if it's possible and basically what it is.

I love this program  . I'm a total noob with video editing, so I just let the program do all the stuff.
Never tried converting to wmv though. Not sure where the command is either.

SMV convert tool maybe? A google search also gave me a MTV format, but I'm not sure if it's the same.

Phillips/Gogear Vibe 4gb.
I looked on the back of the list for what type of files it plays and it only takes SMV (Smart Market Video?).

I wonder what people are using for releases?
alof of the aka uncompresssed files I have is in WMV9. I have tried to convert to MPEG but it allways gets darker.
