Speaking of the pre-order bonus content, Namco sent me codes for the 360 and the PS3. I only have a 360 and none of my buddies that own a PS3 are getting Tekken 6 so instead of letting the PS3 code go to waste, here is the code for the PS3 pre-order bonus content if any one is interested. Let me know if it works, I'm curious. I assume it will, but I also wouldn't be surprised if the PS3 code got canceled once I redeemed the 360 one...

When did you get the codes? I'm still waiting on mine.

I pre-ordered the game but wasn't able to pick it up until Saturday. When I picked it up it came with a large almost paper thin box. Inside was basically a calendar and a small sheet of paper I almost missed. That paper had a code to put in at Namco.com and once I put that in they E-Mailed me the codes a couple minutes later. Did you any of that stuff with your pre-order Syd?

I got mine off Amazon, only thing that was advertised was a code that would allow me to download a Cardboard Samurai costume for Yoshimitsu. Last time I preordered a game with a code, it was two weeks before I got it.

Yeah, the last boss is super gay. Now, granted, pretty much every other Tekken end boss has been a complete joke, but there was no reason to go this far in the opposite direction.
And that fucking bonus fight thing NANCY-M16 or whatever it's called it annoying as well.

Jinpachi was annoying in the last one, but bearable. One of my favorite parts of Tekken has always been the endings, and Azazel is so fucking annoying it's barely worth all the frustration. Beating it with characters I'm not to good with, such as Kuma, is hard as hell, even on easy.

Seconded. Plus he has those knockback attacks, so you can't mash to victory with guys you aren't good with.
Also, I'll ask this again since no one answered. Do this seem to play slower than 3/4/5?

I didn't get into 4 and 5 too much, but I played the hell out of 3 on multi-player and it is definitely slower than 3.

Do either of you unlock random endings for random characters while playing? Sometimes when I'm playing online or doing Scenario Campaign a box pops up letting me know I've unlocked an ending for some character. So far I've unlocked Jack-6, Bryan Fury and a couple other random endings without ever using them. Really weird and I have no idea why.

I played five or six fights online, and haven't won a singel one, so I ain't seein' shit. I just started scenario campaign. I doubt it will hold my interest for too long, considering I sit through ten minutes of cut scenes, do a three minute fight, then watch more cut scenes.
I really don't know if I hate this game or not.

ok i've played over thirty fights online and made decent progress in scenario campaign mode. I guess now that I've gotten a little more used to the game I don't find it as frustrating as before. I still can't pin down what really irks me about tekken as a whole.

lol
...I get the feeling Namco was going for '3D SNK Boss Syndrome' with Azazel--He's without a doubt the cheapest Tekken Boss ever...[/i]

I bet he's still not even 1/3 the difficulty of most difficult 2D bosses.

...Well, he's no Igniz (Or the entire Art of Fighting 2 Cast), that's for sure--He's just a (Really) cheap bastard...

Is it just me, or did this seem to play slower than the PS1/PS2 Tekkens?
Also, how do I get to watch the character endings? I beat arcade mode with Nina, and it went straight to the credits. |
Yeah I could swear Tekken played better than this. 6 feels like a clunkfest. I have not played much Tekken though.

They need to follow Project Soul's lead. I don't know about SC3's end boss, but Inferno was a complete joke in SC1 and SC2, and Algol (or Siegfried depending on who you were) was completely beatable in SC4.

fuck abyss. I wanted to tear the cord out of the controller from fighting him. night terror was like a hundred times worse. fuck soul calibur 3 altogether actually.
I'm up to the part in scenario campaign mode where you can use the robot, but I'm trying to do it without it so I can get the achievement. It's all gravy till I get to anna. biggest pain in my ass ever.

I was stuck at that part for a little bit myself. If you take out those guys that shoot at your from far away first it makes it a lot easier.

I'm pretty sure the long distance gunners don't, and if they do, only a couple, because I definitely was able to get rid of every one shooting at me. As for the people that fight you without a gun, I'm not sure if they infinitely respawn, or if there is a set limit.

If none of that works and your persistent, you could always set it on Hard and equip them with stuff that makes enemies drop more items. With it on hard your more likely to get A and S Class items, so get a couple of those that level should get easier. That was the only way I was able to get past The Nightmare Train level later in the game.
