It's a PEI or Canadian thing! People here understand me! Get with it! lol

It's true, here it's Kraft Dinner. It's written on the box. And it's shorter to say.

I hear a lot of people reference it as EasyMac, even when they're talking about regular Kraft Macaroni and Cheese which is really annoying.

If I had a million dollars, I wouldn't have to eat Kraft dinners.

WTF? You don't eat Campbell's soup anyway? This is my favorite soup:

How did we get from video games to soup anyway?

I'm okay with soup usually... but the word "broth" make me cringe. Seriously, if you tell me something has "broth" in it... I won't eat it. Broth disgusts me and I'm still not sure why. I can eat something that has broth... as long as I don't think of it as broth and no one mentions the term.

Have some fun by trying to convince someone that the bouillon cubes you just sprinkled on their salad are croutons.

An update on the original topic of this post:

Sacramento (CA) - Local Sacramento radio station KDND has fired the hosts of its morning talk show, along with seven other employees, after an on-air contest to win a Nintendo Wii ended up killing one of the participants.

The show, "Morning Rave", has also been pulled while the station investigates the death of 28-year-old Jennifer Lea Strange. During Tuesday's show, a group of people had a chance to win an elusive Nintendo Wii by competing in a contest to see who could drink the most water without going to the restroom.

Strange, who finished second place in the contest, skipped work because of a headache and went home. She was later found dead. According to a preliminary autopsy, Strange died of water intoxication, reports the Associated Press. She had reportedly drunk nearly two gallons of water before she quit.

KDND has launched an internal investigation, but the county sheriff's office said it was not investigating. Strange signed a waiver, relieving the station of any legal guilt or responsibility for her death.

You know that last paragraph makes me wonder, do you think you could LEGALLY get away with murder if you had someone sign a waiver before you killed them?

Depending on the contract, yes and no. You cannot sign a contract that would indicate euthanasia, because that is still illegal. Depends on the content of the contract. In this case, they waived liability of any injuries that could result. It's like when you sign an "IOU" for a loan, beyond a certain % for interest, it's considered illegal. It's called an illegal contract and cannot be enforced. Hence why loan sharking is illegal.
The problem with your question is that the radio station didn't kill her, per se. She is responsible for the actions that resulting in her death.

Yeah, but what if I had someone sign a medical waiver, stating that I am free and clear of all side effects (including death) that the person I am testing may receive, and then just go to town seeing what happens if I mix chemical X with chemical Y, and injecting them with it?

Depends if you know ahead of time that the chemicals will kill him. Please are used for scientific research on new drugs all the time, but they need to be approved by certain government agencies first before they can legally be tested on humans... in my undergraduate studies we needed the university ethics committee approval to give a survey to students. The survey was about deception, and didn't really have any bad effects.

I am on a drug study currently, (Adalimumab) I had to sign a concent form, which keeps getting updated every few months. One of the "side effects" listed is Death. Which, I think is more of an EFFECT, then just a side effect.

But, the doctor told me that they have to put that on there, even if someone died while taking the drug, even if the death was non-drug related, as they were ON the drug at the time of death. (Even fatal accidents fall under this)

I'd take Tish's word for it. She's spent more time watching Law & Order than an entire class of law studetns spends studying for the bar.

But at the least the drug is FDA approved! Meaning it has gone through stringent testing and no one has died as a direct result of it! Sucks that you have [HERPES] though!

Most people aren't aware that overconsumption of water can kill them. If the DJs failed to warn the contestants that massive water intake can have bad effects, they could still be liable as well as the station they worked for.

Some other guy in california died a few years back due to water intoxification during a frat initiation. The town was host to a notorious "party school" and people had died previous years during initations, so the general concencus upon finding out this new and dumb way of dying was more or less, "What'll they think of to kill them next year?"

I think what actually kills you is that it de-salinates your blood or something...

Yeah, it removes the electrolytes in your system. Your brain then swells (that's why you get the headache), and then you die.

The solution? Do the same contest with Gatorade.

I had the same idea yesterday, but can't you die from an overabundance of salts and electrolytes?

They should do it with Pedialyte. I don't know why, but it came to mind.

If an overabundance of electrolytes can kill you... maybe you could partially dilute Gatorade to some point where it's more balanced? At least it may not kill you as fast, though there's still the factor of just ingesting too much liquid.

I don't see why they didn't just do "hold your vomit with the kidney and liver pie eating contest for a wii", then that poor woman would be alive and playing Hooki Mario 4 No Wakashte: Hooki Devils with her 3 children on her new Wii.

WHAT!?!

The drug is FDA approved under the Presciption name : Humira, and is used for treating rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis!!! I am testing it for Psoriatic Arthritis and Plaque Psoriasis!

Herpes!?!

How would a tumor necrosis factor alpha antagonist treat against Herpes? TNFα promotes the inflammatory response. Adalimumab reduces the production of TNFα.

The Herpesviridae (Herpes) are a family of DNA viruses that cause diseases in humans and animals. To treat such you would use an anti-viral treatment or vaccine. You would have to chemically interfere with viral replication, effectively slowing the replication rate of the virus, and hope that the bodies natural immune response would then take over, eliminating the viral strands. Or, you would have to create a artifical virus that was programmed to attack and destroy herpesviridae.

...duh. Razz
