Sounds pretty awesome, but MAN I hate T. Hawk. He was annoying in Street Fighter 2 Turbo, and he'll probably be worse in IV

OKAAAYY, I went somewhere for the weekend that had limited internet access, but now I am home.
The point that I am really trying to drive home is that a bare bones fighting game, no matter how good the fighting may be, should not be sixty dollars. if KOF was thirty or forty dollars I would probably say that it's better, but for my money's worth, I'd have to side with street fighter. Sure, the story and unlockables aren't the real meat of the fighting game, but it sure helps to soothe my aching wallet after spending that much.
Other than that, You haven't really given me any sort of reason that KOFXII is the best game in the universe. Really at the bare bones, there's no such thing as a better game, especially when all of these fighting game have radically different combat systems. It's more a matter of preference. Personally I Enjoy SFIV alot more, but BEST GAME EVAR would have to be reserved for Soul Calibur in my books.
So in closing, both games are too different to say that one is better than the other as far as the gameplay is concerned and it boils down to personal preference. If you are talking about bang for your buck, Street Fighter IV is better than KOF XII.

However, how exactly does the new team mode work? Seemed a bit confusing.

If the team battle can be played with friends on the same 360 going online this will be the perfect game. I hope that if you wanna do team with your personal friends you all don't need a disc on your own 360.

That video is fucking bad ass, hopefully that song in it is the new theme song they play on title menus. I read some where on some other board that Dudley picture is a fake, but who knows. I wonder if they will just complete the Final Fight trio and throw in Hagar.

yeah it is fake, now that I look closer at the gauges and portraits. dudley's portrait is just some art form third strike, and the revenge gauge is the one from SFIV, NOT the redesigned SSFIV one.

Why on heavens earth did we need adon? He was obnoxious, and I'd rather R.Mika or even Birdie over him.
Needs moar street fighter three characters. Much moar.
I would love for Haggar to make it, but the problem once again is that Zangief and Haggar would probably be pretty redundant. Hasn't stopped capcom from making 7+ shotoclones, but spreading the problem to other areas would not be helping.

I agree with Robot Gumshoe, we need lots more SFIII characters. Elena would go well. Birdie would be pretty cool, I always liked his style.

Ya know I was using birdie as an example of characters I would rather have instead of adon, and not characters I would legitimately endorse.
Well, actually now that I think about it Birdie could be okay, but they would have to completely retool him from "crappy balrog/zangief hybrid". The whole giant english thug thing is cool, but his moves suck hard.
I think its high time that street fighter get a good dedicated female grappler. R.Mika is not that grappler, cause she's retarded.
