that was one of my initial thoughts, but what if it was a camera set on a timer? |
In that case whoever hosted it for linkage, the snorter and the snortee are both equally mega gay

those were my two cents as well. they're both fucking gay, but he insisted thats a cop out answer, and technically, he is right.
im not trying to start the discussion cause apparently the discussion went for several pages. and i dont want to derail this that badly.

gay.
now is it gay that you rubbed your sac on him, or that he got rubbed on?
reminds of a convo my buddy was telling me about this other forum he frequents. apparently someone posted a pick of a guy snorting coke off another guys wang. the discussion was to determine who was gayer, the snortee or the snorter. |
Well, considering Emmerich is a real homosexual...he might actually like it...so that might not be the best idea.
Nonetheless, the man has done nothing but make shit pile after shit pile, and not ever trying to switch it up. They all follow the same formula that is SO outlandish, it's amazing if anyone thinks that this is true. And I can't wait for the History Channel to have a plug in with this piece of shit, having "expects" trying to "explain" it.
This literally looks 100 times worse than "The Day After Tomorrow", which is saying a lot since that movie ran out of steam after 40 minutes. Maybe the evil wolves come back in this movie, after the disasterous earthquake.

yeah, i have to agree, he is horrible.
only good ones, as previously mentioned, are stargate, ID4, & Universal Soldier.
but im willing to say that it doesnt look worse than The Day After Tomorrow (TDAT). i've seen about 20 minutes of that dreck and i just couldnt stomach it. cusack is a decent enough actor that he can keep me engaged til the end (he did so w/1408, even though that wasnt any good)

My Aunt got me Day After Tommarow at Easter and she thought i would like it because . . . you know i don't really know what she was thinking. Yay, when i was a kid i thought special effects were cool but i've grown . . . with taste. I'll admit, ID4 is a guilty pleasure that is more awesome then it should be but TDAT. When i can predict the plot and my prediction pans through, that's not a good thing. It felt like mediocre torture, it wasn't 'so bad it's good' or 'so bad it's painful'. TDAT is just a waste of film. Oh and an extra tidbit come with the DVD, a coupon for Fantastic Four 2 that expired a year prior to her giving me TDAT.
The fact i got an expired coupon for a bad movie was more entertaining then the bad movie it came with.
This 2012 thing, I'm going to use my precognitive powers to seee into the fuuuuture . . . 2012 will make a lot of money but critics and people with taste will hate it. For Transformers 2 has started a trend, horrible movies still succeeding. You wait and see, our decline is only beginning.

No, that trend got started long time ago by Seltzer And Friedberg.
And since I'm probably the only forum member who's gonna see it, I shall let you know all how close were to your expectations.

I recently heard one detail that will probably make me wait for the DVD...
THE EARTH DOESN'T END UP FULLY DESTROYED!!!
I had my suspicion that they wouldn't go for a downer ending, but this? Damnit!!! At least Knowing, with all its flaws, had the balls to destroy the Earth!

Someone mentioned that one of the characters is literally nothing more than a walking Pampers commercial, her character does nothing more than piss her pants..

At least he saw it b4 he judged it. Contrary to fasionable opinion (on here anyway) i didn't think Spiderman 3 was total shite, although my favorite is 2.
2012 looks to me to be the sort of film that could be exciting, although probably not the sort of film you could watch again and again. but you never know until you see it. I don't think setting out to hate something is healthy.

If it's successful they can milk it as a franchise, I can just see the sequel...

I saw this Saturday night.
Good disaster movie.
Think Independence Day without the aliens. It's pretty much the exact formula down to the supporting characters.

Actually that sells me on it a lot more than anything else I've heard. I loved Independence Day. Although of course this movie lacks both Jeff Goldblum and Bill Pullman, but even so. Worth giving it a shot I suppose.

...wow...someone actually LIKES Bill Pullman?
And I'm amazed too, it's not like he's doing anything better these days..

Absolutely I do! I mean sure he's been in some awful shit (*cough*casper*cough*) but one of my VERY favorite actors, Christopher Lambert, has made an entire CAREER out of being in awful shit*, and I still love him and watch his movies. Pullman has at least done stuff like Independence Day, Nobel Son, Bottle Shock, The Vriginian, and a couple other good ones. Hell even Lake Placid was at least funny. So yeah, I like him.
*Yes, Highlander was absolutely awesome and is obviously excepted here, as is Highlander III.
