Um..A huge gun battle does happen after the initial airport attack and it is all part of the same level. BTW isn't there a whole other post already for the mw2 massacre debate?.

No worries.. I will agree that after playing it, that it is ugly and graphic, but I will say the actual event is a massive core to the story. Not to spoil anything for anybody but there were 1 or 2 other scenes that I was surprised the media wasn't outraged by.

Reviews starting to come in. Seems ok, and worth it if you can't play MW any other way.
Metacritic 81 average
Things to note:
1. 30 fps, not 60. Framerate suffers when things get ridiculous.
2. lighting = not nearly as good (expected)
Overall, game is good enough that I'd buy it if a Wii was all I owned.

That's funny, I pull about 110 FPS average.

Well then I must ask you the vertical refresh rate on your monitor, because regardless, you will likely have screen tearing if you do run at 110 fps and don't use vertical sync. If you're spiffy and have a 120 Hz monitor, then cool. However, most mainstream monitors vary between 50 and 75 Hz.
(Regardless, I'm disheartened by the sad state of MW2 on pc)

MW2, I wanna try reflex though. I have been trouble pulling myself away from MW2, combine that with excessive work and it explains why I have been so absent lately.
