I think I only scored an 85% on my C7 test way back when I did basic training. I was still in the top 10% of my course though.

The Umbrella "badge" originally contained breath mints to help fight "zombie breath".
As for marksmanship thing, it's kind of a sad story. Back in junior high, they used to have this thing called The All-School Fair. It was like a science fair, except your project didn't have to be science related. It could be English, Social Studies, anything academic. And when my brother was in 8th grade, he and a couple friends did a presentation on either WW1 or WW2, I forget which. Probably WW2, because one of his friends was obsessed with Stalin. And another kid brought in his grandfather's pins. My brother someone got stuck with taking everything home from the gym, and that included the pins. You'd think he would have been interested in getting them back as soon as possible, but it was one of those things, where it was "oh yeah, your grandfather's pins are still sitting around my house, you should probably get them". And he never got them, all the way up through the end of high school. And then we never saw him again.

I was close to getting the .22 marksman in high school for the NRA regulations... but that by the time I had to qualify, we had a cease fire because some dumbass kid shot the water pipes that are "convintently" placed in the schools rifle range.

Congrats Snipe.
I agree it's BS that there are so many men-only divisions.
As far as I know there is only ONE unit that females physically cannot be in. And, that is the Air Force's Combat Control. And, that is due to the fact of the HALO/HAHO drops. I was told by an airforce recruiter years ago, that women couldn't perform the HALO, due to the extreme pressure placed on the body, and women are less aerodynamic then men, that things (such as breasts) could actually tear durring the drop.
I don't know if it is true or not.

I'll be damned. I had no idea about that at all. I hope its not true, because I have this secret ambition to get my HALO/HAHO badge. (Super unlikely since there would be zero use for me getting it and I'd never use it practically, but I can dream! I mean, I AM getting my regular jump wings this summer...) If that's the case, I guess the small smidge of hope I had for that is gone lol. Oh well. I'm curious now so I'll ask around about it.
