Mr. Bomberman asks us to play this game. I think I had it some years ago, so I'd like him to tell me if this is TwinBee :

- The A button shoots some tree-like things on land that try to shoot at you. If you get hit you can't shoot and you must collect some square thing to shoot again. When you shoot a tree, it leaves an apple, or sometimes a power-up.

- The B button shoots straight, like every other shooting games.

- There are lots of clouds. If you shoot one, a triangle/pear/bell/whatever comes out. If you shoot it a few times, it can become white, green, red and other colors, which gives you power-ups, like shooting three shots at once.

- The first boss looks like a green crown with white balls spinning around it.

- In two player mode, you can stick with the other and shoot in formation.

That's all I can remember about the game. Is it TwinBee?

You just described the first TwinBee game for NES.
If the graphics look more cute, and when you get shot down by a boss once, the music gets melancholy, you described the Arcade version of the game.

Though I would recommend the European version of Pop'n TwinBee for the SNES, cause it's seven levels of cute hell.
