I got the link from Dr. Jeebus' sig over at MTG Salvation. After reading through his blog, I checked out Syd's articles, I think Vald's Bucky O'Hare article was the newest one at the time. A link on the front page advertising the SNES Challenge brought me to the forums, and a link from Ghandi in the SNES Challenge thread brought me to the chatroom.

ah, good ol' Boy & his Blob. its out on Wii btw.

I checked for it at a local video store to rent, not to be found. Is it a remake or what? Because if the games consists of soley what was in the NES version, then I'll pass.

not sure if it was released in USA yet or if its this tuesday, but i saw the review on 1up.com so i figured it was released or about to be released. its a remake but it has a lot of new stuff apparently. looks pretty cool, and all the animation is hand drawn.

You know where southpaw comes from? I'll tell ya. A long time ago there was this guy, maybe a couple a hundred years ago, he was fighting around, I think it was around Philadelphia, and his arm -- he was left-handed -- and his arm was facing toward New Jersey, you see? And that's south. So then naturally they call him south paw. You see? South paw, south Jersey, South Camden, south paw. You know what I mean?

It came out either on Tuesday the 13th or Wednesday the 14th, depending on who you ask. It is not a remake. It is an all-new puzzle game. The plot is similar to the first game, but it is now broken down into levels rather than being one continuous game.

well, its not a straight up remake like bionic commando rearmed, but it still has the same idea. its not a sequel either. a reimagining maybe?

GnG is one of those games I have a love/hate relationship with. It's fun to complain about it, but I find myself playing it every couple months regardless.
