I am still Wii-less and it sucks. No one has the fucking things. I've been to probably 20 stores over the last week and no luck.

Meanwhile, my local Target has three PS3s. They've been sitting there for four days now.

I'm Wii-less because I'm poor. So when a store finally gets a Wii, you'll be set, and even more games will have premiered.

And the PS3's just sitting there are further proof that the PS3 has nothing on the game system most people counted out. Could the Wii have been the little Mac of the game world. Would that have made the PS3 the King Hippo of the game world, unstoppably large and powerful until it opens its big mouth? Or would the PS3 have been Bear Hugger, a giant oaf dropped in 16 seconds?

Seconded, and the fact that seemingly all of Manhattan is cleared of Wiis and PS3s.

The manager at EB Games was pissed off at all the guys who bought PS3s to sell on eBay, found out they could't get shit for them, and returned them to the store. He has a stack of ten PS3s that aren't selling.

The only Wiis I have seen around here are the floor/display models of Best Buy etc. to show everyone what it looks like or whatever, despite them having none in stock. What a cock tease.

Though granted, even if they DID have Wiis, I couldn't buy one anyway since I'm short on money at the moment.

There's many Wii's left in the shops in my town. That's probably 'cause the community are chavs and Halo-fan boys.

My mom told me she paid $350 for a Wii with Twilight Princess included over eBay and got it sometime in the first week of December.

Syd, out of those 4 games you mentioned the only one I actually want to play is Dead Rising, but I don't have an HDTV so I'd like to avoid eye strain trying to read tiny text.

Comdemned is pretty fun. I've got a pretty active willing suspension of disbelief, so I have trouble playing it in a dark room, but it lets me beat up homeless junkies and psychos.

And Dead Rising is damn fun overall. I still haven't unlocked everything.

Once I get fin. aid money I'd like to pick up Gears of War and maybe Chromehounds.

How? Lost Planet ~Extreme Condition~ has great graphics, doesn't it? And it got pretty good reviews... Looks good, just don't have a 360 or money to buy it.

I'm not sure if that's sarcasm or if you're actually using the "it has good graphics" argument. Whether or not a game is good has very little to do with the graphics. Good graphics can't save a bad game and they're merely icing on the cake on a good game. The commercial for the game bores me... Hooray, it's generic looking soldiers fighting aliens on a planet that looks so much like Hoth that George Lucas must be itching to sue.

Don't get me wrong, the game very well might be the next Gears of War. Unfortunately, the commercial doesn't do a good job of selling it.

I've had no luck finding a Wii in my area for the last few weeks. All I've seen are PS3's (60 gb).
