I know this belongs in the food section, but I thought I'd share anyways.

What the fuck happened to these? They were delicious! Plus the Orange M&M guy was the best. And on that note, they had characters for every color besides brown, why doesn't brown get an M&M character. And while we're on colors, weren't we supposed to get a purple M&M a few years ago after some contest? It just disappeared...like the tan M&Ms, what happened there? Mars Company...you need to get your shit together and quit fucking me over!!!

There was a contest where you could vote for the new color of M&M. The choices were blue, purple, and pink. I voted purple. Blue clearly won.

Those coconut M&M's they had a little while ago were awesome too. I think next they ought to do a cookie dough M&M.

the strawberry/peanut butter ones were terrible though. what were they thinking?

Cookie dough M&Ms sound amazing.

I did like the crispy ones when they were offered, but I'd still pick peanut butter M&Ms over them every time.

Can anyone think of a BRAND NEW candy bar that has been able to get a foot in the door? I feel like they just keep rehashing the same things.

I actually remember going to a 3rd rate super market as a kid, and this was around 1997 I think. Anyways, they had a cardboard stand by the check out for M&Ms. It had Red, Yellow and Green...as well as what looked like a female version of Yellow, who was Brown. I only saw this once, and have never found anything to support the theory that they did in fact have a brown character.

And I guess Green has changed "characters" as well, since she used to be an Almond M&M, now she's dark chocolate.

The Hershey Smores bar is pretty darn good, but that was upwards of 5-6 years ago.

Being a fan of chocolate-covered pretzels, I really dig on the Hershey Take 5's.
