same rules as last time except 1 of the games has to include the Super Mario World/Super Mario All-Star cart so we have a dominate Mario presence on the system
and to save a slot for another game

No offense, but I think it's cheap to have the 2 in 1 games, especially since one of them is already has 4 games on it, but that's just my opinion.

Not only is that not right, that's not even wrong. It's a meaningless statement. Saying something is "one molecule away" from plastic is like saying a farm is one letter away from a fart. Water is "one molecule away" from being explosive hydrogen gas. |

I also don't care for it, even though it was one of the first games I owned. Not only does it basically dumb Mario down for anyone to beat, but they redid the sprites in the original, which looks horrible. The only reason I ever owned it to begin with was because those were the days before I had an NES, and even then...I felt like I was cheating.

I have never played it. How is it made easier? The complaints that I have heard usually have to do with it being recolored/redesigned backgrounds/upgraded graphics.

I just hated Super Mario All Stars because having beat 1, 2 and 3 on NES I was pissed that instead of a new Mario game they just redid a bunch of sprites and released this garbage knowing that most parents will buy it for their kids because they are dumb.
Any kid receiving SM All Stars as a present, especially after beating and enjoying the others on NES would certainly and justifiably be pissed. They weren't really remakes as much as it was a cheap way to make money for Nintendo. The physics also seemed off to me.
Somewhere there is a thread or article where Syd explains some graphical differences and does a better job explaining why it's lame than I do.
