Nibbler- I got this guy when he was about the size of a mouse, since then he has gotten big. He's really chill and is the only cat that I've ever loved as much as I would a dog.
Falcon- My sister brought this little scamp home. She's really stupid but always does funny stuff.

Why would you want to own Garfield or Heathcliff?
Garfield was a lazy asshole who basically only existed so that Jon didn't kill himself.
And Heathcliff, while a straight up badass, didn't take shit at all. He'd do thing his way and if you thought otherwise, you'd get your ass kicked.
If I ever wanted a fictional cat, I'd get Nermal. At least he was caring.

Have you seen Jon? He is one depressed motherfucker! Usually any strain of optimism he has is shot down by Garfield and he resorts back to being depressed. The same thing has been going on since the mid-80's with absolutely no hope for Jon at all.
Heathcliff was always sneaking off and doing his own thing, he never paid attention to his stupid owner, who only paraded him around when he wanted, only for it to blow up in his face. Heathcliff was very aggressive and anyone who has had an aggressive cat knows that it isn't fun to have at all...they have the scars to prove it.

Given I am a cat lover and spent thousands of dollars in charity for cats I am glad National Cat Day fell on my birthday.
Edit: Fuck it was the 29th, not the 30th. Cat day need to be on the freaking 30th.

Yup, here you go:
My middle cat died of liver failure, but I loved her so much. I took her brother and her in when they were born outside my house. My entire tax return went to try to cure her. The same year I spent the rest of my money giving her brother dental surgery. He is the one on the top section. He was in danger of dying from a gum infection, and he needed most of his teeth removed because of it. He lived, and is a happy boy because of it. The bottom one is my first cat. He was almost dying and starving when I took him in, and he has been the healthiest one since I nursed him back.
This is my newest cat:
He is was a stray, and he is hyperactive and destructive. He actually called the cops on me on one occasion. I love him though, even if he is a pain in the ass.
I arrived too late! I'll post some kittie pics later. Always love a reason to post pictures of cats.

Having grown up with dogs, I was never a fan of cats.
But then I met my GF's cat, and the thing is as affectionate as any dog I've ever seen. I never knew cats that the capacity to be like that. But I love that cat now, so I'm a converted cat person.
That said, I'm still allergic to long-haired cats. I can only be around short-haired ones.

I still don't get the wanting of Garfield, he's basically just a downer on Jon, who's not wishy-washy but more along the lines of improving himself, then falling into a state of dispair when his silent cat doesn't even show him any affection or appreciation...cats like that suck.

HAhAH, great video. Tiny looks like a chronic sleeper. Falcon is the same way, when she's not phucking stuff up, she's sleeping.... like a rock, you can shake her, pick her up, pull her tail, open her eyes, whatever you want and she won't wake up.
