So, I've been gone for a while, and it's mostly because I've been at a gamestore everyday playing random games. I saw Van Halen there, and figured, what the hell, I'll give it a go.

Song List: The best from Van Halen, or at least what I know. Considering it opens with Panama and Jump, Lem like. The other parts, the bands not Van Halen? Kind of odd choices. The ones that stand out are blink 182, Fountians of Wayne, and The Offspring. I don't know how they got in, but hey, it amused me. All of it is unlocked from the start, from what I can tell. So you can rokk to your heart's content.

Graphics: I was surprised, they improved a decent amount from the last one. All the characters are very well animated, as well as all the venues.

Random Shit: The customization of your character and guitar was fun, as usual, but playing as Van Halen was the big draw of the game.

All in all, good. 4/5

When it comes to Guitar Hero i can only rate the game based on the song choices and the songs note chart.

Getting to play as Van Halen or customizing a guitar/character means nothing to me cause it's just pixels and has no effect on the game whatsoever apart from visually.
