For the longest time, I had no idea how to do Akuma's Azure slide move (F+D+DF All three punch buttons), until I found you push all the punch buttons, not pressing one three times
Also, it took me two years to beat the Tarantula boss in Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals. I dunno why, I couldn't beat the jerk. Then I picked it up one day and just did it
I went through the same thing with the Demon Wall boss in the Temple of the Ancients in FF7. I had no concept of levels back then since I was an RPG lightweight, so I assumed he was just really hard to beat, since all of his attacks would kill a character in one or two hits. Then I ended up just getting a lucky critical when Cid was at 15hp. I was able to finish the rest of the game in about two weeks.
So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

I needed to use emulator save states in order to beat "Mission: Impossible" for the NES. Yet, I still cannot beat "Back to the Future" even with them.

Don't feel bad. Mission: Impossible is only the hardest game in the entire NES library. Incidentally, I've beaten it twice.
