At long last it's here.
Please remember, the script was written in ten minutes, the film shot in a day, and edited very quickly. I set out to make a bad movie really quickly and by most standards succeeded. Some of you might like it and some of you will hate it.
Special apologies to DarkMaze, RobotGumshoe, and Kubo (we tried to get you in the film, but the costume really, really didn't work). Due to length, there's no end credits.
I've counted over 50 continuity errors already.
There were two scripted endings, but I went with the ending based on what I thought was going to happen. A third ending was considered that reflect the rematch.

Good for a 1-day movie... |
Like I said, I refused to do any real work on this film. That includes fancy things like renting lights, color correction, ADR, complicated sound editing, editing lists, etc. Oh, and not having a DP or script supervisor are very big problems.

Nevertheless, I still enjoyed it. Kudos.

"But now we're just two warriors in the middle of a battlefield! ...Or a community park."
LMAO! That was ten minutes of pure hilariousness, and I loved all the little touches like the Nuclear Man picture, the picture of my avatar on the mirror, and the Real Ultimate Power book.
And I'm amazed you shot all that in a day. Brilliant.

That was great... I mean... wow. One day of shooting and BAM!!!
My favorite part was where you said "If you will not tell me, I will hurt people," and, as I was thinking that sounded familiar, I glanced under the movie window to see the first part of your sig. Great, great job!

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I promise though the next film I randomly shoot in a day will be MUCH better.
I premiered the short for the cast and crew (and some other people) tonight before we screened a really, really bad film. It actually made me feel better about DvT. Mainly because in the real film, a helicopter explodes in the same way Bizarro-Kubo exploded in the short; everyone turned to me and mentioned the similarity.
Because there was no space for credits to acknowledge the references/parodies/homages/music used I'll be adding them here. And some FUN FACTS! like:
* "DarkMaze" is wearing a Best Buy uniform under the costume (visable in some shots), because it's freezing outside, the ninja outfit is mighty thin, and he literally just got off work.

I loved the cinematography. the angles and stuff were great for that over dramatic look.

I had to wait ten hours to watch it, as I don't have sound at work, but hot damn was it worth it.

Wow. That ruled.
Favorite line: "I've taken your soul! And your virginity!"
That's better than what I'm doing in my AV class, and I've had 3 months. But, I also have requirements and can't do anything "offensive". But damn, that was funny.
