The largest difference between the two is that Obama is well spoken. Perhaps the words aren't what many want to hear, but they are offered to our ears in a way that we aren't offended.
Bush always sounded like he had no fucking idea what was going on. He never seemed to have his shit in order.

I read a story today about how Obama has managed to play as many games of golf in 9 months, that Bush did in almost 3 years (24 times I believe). reminded me of how I would hear people yap on and on about how Bush would do the same.

Yeah, no matter the side of the spectrum that people are on, they always back their man and condemn the other person in every way possible. The love/hate mentality that people who follow politics is unbelievable.

Yes, but nothing is as polarizing as religion and politics. That's not saying these foundations are bad, but just narrow minded in some fields. Hell, even religious zealots don't seem as crazy as some of the liberals/conservative people I've met, there's no pleasing them if their man isn't in the White House.
