I refuse to believe.
We, the Sydlexian Lynch Mob, take away your right to exist because you broke the Sydlexian Law of the Universe, which, in chapters seven to nineteen, states:
"59. In order to be fully recognized as an existing lifeform, it must have played a title from the Castlevania series."
(the law may or may not have been thought up at this very moment. Also, it may or may not be the only law in the book.)
You are hereby proclaimed a non-being and you do not exist. We shall not recognize your existence as fact and truth until you prove to us that you abide by the Law.
That is all.

Well, if someone is getting lynched for not playing Castlevania, I probably shouldn't mention my history with the Final Fantasy series.

I started it many times but it just felt too slow for me to get into. I really wanna beat it one of these days though.

I have a few that would get me lynched in a society with no first amendment.
1) Pretty much any Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, whatever game will bore me to death and force me to turn the game off.
2) It took me several years to even figure out what to do in Castlevania II.
3) I didn't play any other Castlevanias after the NES trilogy until recently.(Loving Castlevania IV and Dracula X)

I never played the Metal Gear series either. I did however play through and beat Earthbound, on like ten different occasions. I absolutely loved that game, and wish it was longer. It's the empty feeling of knowing that nothing is left. I had fond child-hood memories with that game, and I wish they were still bringing out Mother titles. I sure do miss it.

I still hate Castlevania III.
and honestly, if you've been beating Super Mario RPG for 13 years, you don't need the goddamn Super Suit.

Exactly. And it isn't a collectathon such as other games, it just makes you play the game in an entirely new content, and I really prefer it more that way. Making it through the entire game without being seen or killing anyone (besides bosses) is a very enlightening feeling, especially given the irony about it being the Cold War.
And add me to the list of people who isn't into FPS. Except for FPS from 10 years or more ago.

I never beat "Lunar : Eternal Blue" for Sega CD even though I have started it over 5 or 6 times. I also never beat "Suikoden" for PS1.

The first video game I remember playing is the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man.

You poor poor bastard....I am so so sorry
I know the experience probably left you with the mental scars and huge doctor bills, but I truly hope you're better after that unGodly creation. No one should be introduced through games by that abomination.
One thing I do want to venture to doing before I die, is track down Todd Frye and punch him in the goddamn teeth.

Yeah, I'm surprised that I don't hate video games right now.
If it'll make you feel better, I was pretty oblivious in my childhood. I actually thought that it was fun. Damn, was I stupid.
For God's sake, I used to think Shaq-Fu was a great game. What the Hell is wrong with me?

Ha, the Atari 2600 version of Pac-Man is one of the first games I remember playing too. I also liked it at the time. Then again, I had nothing else to compare it to.
Confession: I have never put the hamster in the microwave in Maniac Mansion. I didn't even know you COULD do it until around 2002 or so when I read the article on the Nintendo of America censorship of the game. I had never thought to try it, probably because I'M NOT A FUCKING MONSTER.
I know it's just a game and all, but I simply don't have the heart for hamstercide.

I have almost completed FFIV, but i am stuck right before the last boss, and dont have the necessary healing items to bet him, nor return to the surface and get them, so I am stuck without having completed one of the greatest games ever.
I also have never played the western SMB2 (but i have beaten the lost levels).
But what I am most ashamed of, I have never even tried Chrono Triggeer

I've never even entered the second temple in Majora's Mask. I've tried to play through it four times, but I always quit right after I get the Goron mask.

I never used Bernard or Razor whenever I played Maniac Mansion...always going with Jeff and Syd, who were probably the two least desirable characters. I'd also put down the controller whenever I'd hear the Ed/Tentacle theme...I fucking loved it.
Also, I didn't know that it actually had it's own spin off TV show:
