The party awoke in different locations. Piter was in her home forest, enjoying the fresh air, when suddenly all the woodland creatures decided to try and kill her. She climbed a tree and tried to fight back with bow and arrow, but her arrows somehow caught the forest on fire.

Suntoer awoke on a volcano, just as it began to erupt. He ran for his life but a great chasm opened up before him. He tried to jump it, but failed. Landing some 20 feet below, unharmed, he tried to climb out of the chasm. When climbed up 20 feet, he found himself not at the top, but on a ledge, inhabited by salamanders. They attacked and burned him.

Jox was back at his hometown, the entire village there to give a heroes welcome. Suddenly every lie he ever told, every story he ever exaggerated was being written across his face. The writing spread along his clothes, along the ground, and all over his house. The whole town turned on him, including his father, dealing the unkindest injury in rebuking him. Then the whole town turned on him again, except this time into zombies.

Derickt awoke to find a Sarcopsyche feasting on the deepest fears of his friends. One by one the party members broke free of the Sarcopsyche's grip and slayed the foul beast. A happy halloween was had by all.

With the terror beast behind them, the party continued searching the ship for any sign of the Mad Mage. All they found were rooms upon rooms of animated objects. After the battle in the captain's quarters, the party was feeling more like avoiding the animated objects and trying to find the mage. The first deck below had several bedrooms, as well as a custodial closet and munitions room, all filled with objects wanting to hurt our heroes.

The second deck below was where the slaves would have been shackled to their benches to row. Instead of slaves, there were chomping shackles and an old, unanimated drum.

The lowest deck was the galley, where the party was attacked by food like chickens, lettuce, potatoes, carrots, ham, and the like. Defeating these enemies caused them to immediate rot and nearly make everyone sick. After this a large cauldron began lumbering toward the party, at which they said 'screw this' and went upstairs to light the munitions room on fire and blow the ship to hell.

There were a number of books in one of the bedrooms that Derickt wanted to take before the explosion, but everyone except Fenuran just left the boat, leaving Derickt to play demolition man by himself. It was lucky for Derickt that Fenuran stuck around.

While trying to quickly grab the books off the shelf, an animated chest in the room snuck up behind Derickt and swallowed him whole. Hearing the strange noise, Fenuran looked in the room to find his companion vanished. He called for help, and eventually the party came back and destroyed the chest, freeing poor Derickt.

The books were then taken from the ship, and Derickt was ready to blow it up, but Fenuran 'convinced' him, (he wasn't there to say no), to let Fen finish clearing the ship out. The party returned to the inn to decide what to do next.

One of the books was the mage's diary, and the heroes learned a little about the mage. The other books were written in languages that none of the heroes could speak. They went to guild to see if tere were anyone in town who could.

There was not, but in the town of Jovelle, there would be. They resolved to finish clearing out the ship, and tried to borrow a hammer from the local blacksmith to help deal with the large cauldron. Smith wanted to charge 100 gold an hour to use his hammer and nearly got stabbed in the throat by Derickt. He was eventually talked down to letting them use it after he closed shop for the evening.

The party returned to the inn to rest until that time.

Then they defeated the cauldron and all the magical goo disappeared. The guard got the ship and the party got paid.

Now they had to commission passage to Jovelle, a journey no sane sailor would take as something in the lake was sinking ships. Enter Captain Tosh, a man as wild as the seas themselves.

On the way to Jovelle, the ship was attacked by a giant dragon turtle with a formidable steam breath weapon. It took two rounds to kill the beast, and two times the beast blasted the party with it's steam. Derickt took the full brunt of both attacks, the second of which he was floating right in front of the dragon's mouth. Derickt is now temporarily deaf. What hilarity will ensue?

P.S. Apologies to the other players for the egocentricity of this post, I don't always remember what everyone did. Feel free to addendum.
