Okay, so my friend came to me asking for help and I know nothing about the Dreamcast's library and was unable to successfully Google or Wiki an answer. She doesn't remember much about it, but here are the facts:

-A fantasy-type game, or at least not modern. No technology.
-Graphical style more realistic, not anime. Somewhere in between a Bond-level game realism and Final Fantasy-style realism.
-There was some fighting but it was "questish." You ran around "collecting things" (...)
-The player character was a man with silver-blonde hair
-"It's name was like everscape or ever land or quest land or something." (NOT Everquest)
-Not Phantasy Star Online, more medieval-type setting.

I figure one of you guys must know this system well enough to sniff a lead out. Thanks in advance.

How about Silver. That's the first game that came to mind when I read this.

Draconus: Cult of the Wyrm.
Dragon Riders: Chronicles of Pern
Silver

So here's to you Mrs. Robinson. People love you more- oh, nevermind.

Where the characters attempt to look like "real" people (albeit improbable ones) in a fantasy setting, as opposed to say, Tales games, where they look like anime characters.

Maybe you could help us some by telling what kind of camera it used? I.e. over the shoulder, overhead view of the world, first person?
