Diablo meets Halo, now I'm not a huge fan of Halo outside of the ODST, but that was mostly because of Fillion, Baldwin, and Firefight, either way, who here is planning on getting this game since I'm considering it and I kinda want people to play online with outside my usual circle of 3 friends and guy who bitches about hackers.

This game is amazing. I got it on wednesday and already have almost 24 hours play time. It's like fallout 3 without everything everybody bitched about plus a million guns.

I own it as well and I'm having a blast so far. I haven't played a game like this where time just flies since Fallout 3 and Oblivion.

This game is better then anything out this entire year, seriously.
Also, a good name for it is 'fallout by squaresoft' even though it's by an american company, it seems like it.

After Opposing Force and the Brothers in Arms series, Gearbox has been on my "developers to watch list." Borderlands looks great, has some cool features (the Diablo weapons system on crack is especially appealing), and appeals to the explorer in me, so I'm taking a chance and turning in my crappy copy of Halo: ODST [last Halo game, I swear (also my first trade-in in years)] to pick up a copy of Borderlands on Sunday or Monday.

I think resident evil 5 and marvel ultimate alliance 2 would like to have a word with you.

I don't think they would, because Borderlands show's both of them up.

Yeah, Resident Evil 5 went ass backwards in my opinion. I played every single game and loved them and when I picked up 5 I was extremely disappointed. It was purtier though, but god knows that can't save a game.
But yeah, Borderlands looks sweet.

It's ok. I hated the fact that they take the fun out of puzzle solving by telling you how to do each puzzle.

Well, what the game does is at each section where you're supposed to feed a bean to your blob, it'll tell you EXACTLY what you need to do, leaving imagination out of it. It seems more suited to younger audiences.
