SACRAMENTO, Calif. - A 12-year-old California boy is under arrest for allegedly setting his friend on fire twice.
The victim, a 13-year-old boy, suffered severe burns to his legs as well as burns to his arms and abdomen.
Fire officials say the two were playing in a tree house Wednesday and filled a balloon with lighter fluid. The balloon broke, soaking the 13-year-old in the fluid.
According to officials, as he started leaving to go change his clothes, the 12-year-old lit him on fire. The victim patted out the flames, but then 12-year-old allegedly lit him ablaze again.
Sacramento Fire Capt. Jim Doucette says he doesn't know if the suspect intended to hurt his friend or was just being playful.
He was taken to juvenile hall and faces arson charges.

I read about this earlier in the AP. Did the burglar have a weapon or not? If not, the guy is in trouble.

When Black Watch soldier Kevin Elliott was killed in Afghanistan by a grenade attack, his best friend, 25-year-old Barry Delaney, remembered a pact they made to each other: if one of them died, the other one would wear girls' clothes to the funeral.
Delaney kept his word and turned up to mourn his mate wearing a bright yellow lycra dress, pnk stockings and black leather boots.
Postal worker admits to stealing 30,000 Netflix DVDs
A former postal service employee has pleaded guilty to stealing more than 30,000 DVDs that moved through a western Massachusetts post office.
Myles Weathers, formerly of Springfield, took DVDs that were mailed by Netflix to customers for a year beginning in January 2007.
Federal prosecutors say the movie rental company alerted Springfield post office officials that a suspiciously high number of DVDs were disappearing. As many as 100 movies a week were disappearing.
Weathers was arrested in February 2008 after investigators filmed him taking DVDs from packages and slipping them into his backpack.
He faces 10 months to 16 months in prison and restitution costs of about $38,000 at his Dec. 23 sentencing.
Weathers' attorney did not immediately return a call seeking comment Tuesday..

62-year-old Dennis LeRoy Anderson tricked out his La-Z-Boy arm chair with speakers, cup holders and the engine of a lawnmower. Pretty sweet. But then he ruined it by having a few beers and attempting to drive the chair home. With his blood alcohol level at 0.26 (three time the legal limit), he collided with a parked car (he's OK, don't worry) and the cops picked him up for driving while intoxicated. He got two years probation.

A Clark County woman calls 911 to report herself as a drunk driver.
Mary Strey, 49, of Granton was driving home from the bar around 11:28 p.m. on Saturday night when she called 911 to report a drunk driver. When the dispatcher asked Strey if she was following the drunk driver, she told police she was the drunk driver.
As she continued driving towards her home the dispatcher asked Mary to stop her vehicle on the side of the road and turn on her vehicle's flashers, which she did. Police found her parked on the side of the road.
Police gave Strey a field sobriety test. According to the criminal complaint Strey's speech was slurred, she stumbled, was swaying back and forth and could not perform the tests.
She was arrested on charges of drunk driving, first offense. Officers say Strey told them she had started drinking earlier in the day and had had seven or eight brandy and Cokes at different bars in Neilsville.
At the time of her arrest, officers say her blood alcohol level was 0.17.
Part of the 911 call:
Dispatch: You behind them?
Mary Strey: No, I am them.
Dispatch: You am them?
Mary Strey: Yes, I am them.
Dispatch: Okay, so you want to call and report you're driving drunk?
Mary Strey: Yes.
Dispatch: Are you still driving right now? You want to stop driving before you get in an accident.
Mary Strey: Yes, I will stop.
Dispatch: You want to stop right now.
Mary Strey: Yes, I will stop right now.
