Just do the Sega Genesis...
most GB games sucked and played much worse than an NES game most of the time

The gameboy was my main system of choice as a kid because my older brothers wouldn't let me play the SNES or the Genesis most of the time. I think you could make a solid list of GB games but I'd be for the inclusion of GBC games too.

maybe some like it because of nostalgia purposes but I hated having one because it just seemed like a lame version of the NES.

really the only portable I liked was the Neo Geo Pocket Color. Its too bad it didn't catch on well because it had to compete with the GBA which had a much bigger library and the Nintendo name.
It still amazes me how the Game Boy destroyed the Lynx, Game Gear,Nomad as well as a slew of others despite being on such dated hardware. One of the biggest mysterys of gaming in my opinion.

the GBA has a great library and the DS has an even more amazing library. get a portable smart card, and you're set for days son

Same is true for every system. Download one of those multi-gig collections of ROMs for any system, and over 80% will be unplayable garbage. The problem with the GB in particular is the eye-killing color and obnoxious sounds. I'm not saying the GB was awful in any way, it's just that trying to re-live the nostalgia will just leave you crosseyed with a punctured eardrum.
EDIT: Also, if everybody's requesting a comment spot, why not just settle for a bonus comment right below all of the normal guys? You can have the normal contributors like Syd, Vald, Jeebus, Douche, etc., then Bonus: Random Forumer or something. Whatever, I'm not here. Keep talking bout yer vidjagames.
