Nah, these things never are. I'm 99% sure that if you grab any "energy shot" style drink (5 hour energy etc.) that they will not be FDA approved. The same goes for many weight loss things ilke Stacker 2 and such.

It was the "Don't drink more than 8 oz. during a 6 hour period" warning that made me raise my eyebrow more than the FDA thing.

That is probably because of the amount of caffeine in them. If they didn't have that warning some moron would end up over dosing on caffeine and probably sue them.

most energy shots or drinks have some sort of warning to not exceed 2 cans per day. you get crazy shakes if you do.

I can confirm 5 Hour Energy is also nasty. I haven't had any of the Mana energy products so I don't know if it tastes any better or worse than 5 Hour, but I'm guessing it's similar.
I like the idea behind this product. I would like it better if it were more like your Redbull/Monster/Rockstar/etc products. That way you could actually drink it and enjoy it.
