OK, here's what I remember:
It was a PC game.
The game had a medieval theme. (No, it's was Heretic.)
One of the first levels was a graveyard.
The game was at least as old as Wolfenstein 3D, possibly older.
Your primary (and possibly only) weapon was fireballs
In each level, you needed to find either an orb or a gem. There was one for each color of the rainbow.
The last level was Hell or something. The walls were all red and bloody.
Once you beat the final boss, you ended up in hallway with stone tabs on the wall. If
you read the tablets, they gave you cheat codes for the game. They were all basic stuff. The codes were all basic stuff. TAB-W (or was it CTRL-W?) was warp, etc.
