It was an "as made famous by" song, which means it was a cover. Oddly enough, I prefer the cover over the original
Also:
1)This game has made me into a huge fan for Budgie, Brocas Helm, and Riot.
2)Lemmy's character is freaking awesome
3)It's nice to have a game where almost every character is well-written and memorable. I really think good characterization is one of Tim Schafer's greatest abilities.

Absolutely great game. Just beat it today.
1. Tons of great tracks.
2. The story and characters were memorable.
3. Loved the references to Norse Mythology like Titans creating the world and shit
4. Whatever that zeppelin solo you get is, it is fucking awesome, you bring down a huge flaming zeppelin.
Also, the Limited Edition case is freakin awesome too, and I'd definately recommend this game to anyone wondering about it.

Where'd you get the Zeppelin solo? It was one of the two or three I couldn't find on my first play-through.

Haha, that's the guide I used to collect almost everything, I've still gotta get some stuff in Northwest Continent/Second Area, and do most of the Secondary missions. Final boss was definately a joke, just attack him a bit, he retreats so zap him till his chains fall off while enemies attack you, then attack him again, rinse and repeat. Ending was very anti-climatic, but where Eddie screams DECAPITATION!!!!! was freakin hilarious to me.

The game felt like it rushed to the ending a little, and the ending (MEGA SPOILERS, please don't read and yell at me) where he found Ophelia in the sea of tears just felt a little too heartwarming or patronizing. I'm not saying she needed to be dead, it was just a little... weird the way it was (/end spoilers).
And apparently there's a whole culture of people now pissed and bitching about Double Fine "hiding" the RTS-lite gameplay, so much so that Schafer had to make a press release telling people how to play.

It was kinda odd, but there are hints in the game that imply that its not ophelia that is the crazy goth.

I didn't pick up on those hints, whether I saw them or not. Hell, even evil-Ophie still had Eddie's necklace. Even on that note, I thought the character of Ophelia was pretty well-written. Games always write angst oddly, but with Ophelia, the character who was always treated as an outsider among the people she was trying to help, and eventually betrayed by the one person who trusted her, her sadness felt very relatable and believable, and the scene where she jumped into the sea was very well-done.
