It costs me less over time per year of living to pay the rent. The 4.85% rate helps.

Congrats. That's an awesome rate. I may have skipped the points though, but if you had the spare cash to buy them then it is a good move.

The seller wouldn't negotiate the price the way I wanted, so I had them pay the closing costs, in turn I jacked the closing costs as high as I could. Adding $8,000 worth of points was a great way to get money back from them. I ended up with $12,500 in closing costs outside of the down payment. Of that, the seller paid $11,650. I don't think they understood that by paying me back like that they were taking a larger tax hit, increasing the value of my property, reducing the overall cost of my loan by around $80,000 and getting the raw end of the deal.

I feel for ya man. Moving is about the biggest pain in the butt in the world. It is like life just goes upside down.

Helping someone move is a sign of true friendship.

But who would be foolish enough to give free beer and pizza to those who are not their friends? Also, what kind of dick asks non friends to help move? *divides by zero*

i said 'ok'

'but first you gotta help me move from one apartment to another in the same building'

lol. it was cool though. we are buddies so im not gonna give him the shaft. and moving stuff while drinking gets you a real good buzz. especially in the AZ heat

I had to help someone move and they rented the short truck instead of the big truck so we had to make two trips instead of one, and no beer....fucker.

I don't own anything particularly valuable besides a guitar and a fuckton of movies, so when I move I usually give away any furniture that I don't want to bother moving and fill up the suv with my guitar movies tv and a futon mattress and make one trip. Anyone got a couch they don't want anymore, cause watching movies sitting on a kitchen chair sucks. Confused

He got an apartment in NH with his two friends. It was easy to miss since it was at the bottom of page 2
