I never managed to beat Super Mario Sunshine all because of that level before the final boss battle. Maybe I'll try it again, perhaps it was just youthful incompetence that was my problem.

i never owned Luigi's Mansion, only rented it. but i was never able to complete it. i got to the end and fought bowser once and died. then i didnt try again for 2 days, but by then i had to return it.

was the ending any good?

Never beat:

SMT DDS1, 2, Nocturne
FFX, X-2
Suikoden 2-5

Put tons of hours into them but I get bored usually near the end of the game. I'm probably never going to finish them either. Screw it.

MGS4 on the other hand, I popped that in and I don't think I turned off my PS3 till I beat the game.

Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link

I get about 1/3 of the way in and just lose desire, not that it's a terrible game...just not nearly as addictive as the first game.

I think I probably beat this about 6 months after I posted this.

Looking back on games I never went back to that I should have;

Both Blaster Master games for the NES and PS1
Both Banjo Kazooie games
God Hand

Other than that, I don't think there's many games I didn't eventually beat.

It wasn't bad, but it pulled a Wario ending with the money.

Except it doesn't have an epic super ending where Luigi owns a planet.
