Batman has gone on longer than 3 or 4 films Maybe they'll be another Tallahassee in a few years
As a movie, they had a budget probably sizably bigger than they would on a per-episode basis of a TV show anyway. The movie also felt big, like a movie and not compacted like TV locations would be.
I'd stick to films for a bit then bring it to TV if it's losing interest on the big screen.

I don't think they'd do a show. I believe they were working on the pilot way back in 2005 and never could get the production going.

what was the song that was playing when witchita and columbus were dancing?
EDIT - nevermind, I found it. it's "Two of the lucky ones" by The Droge & Summers Blend, who I have never heard of, but just bought their CD online.

Ha, I got the remix of Johnny Cash's "Country Boy" from the later Zombieland trailers. Sadly, the best of the song is the part they play in the trailer.

Yeah I was expecting a scene highlighting that song. Well marketing did it's job well this time I had that blurb of the song in my head until I finally saw the movie,

honestly, the soundtrack for this movie isn't bad at all. it manages to fit the movie and still have hit singles.

thirded. the entire movie could have just been that opening with for whom the bell tolls and I would have felt satisfied.

Was it just me, or did the entire opening montage look like it was filmed to be in 3-D? With people running toward the camera, and glass shattering toward the camera and basically everything happening right at the camera...

*spoilers ahead*
I will say this, I went into this movie worried since I really HATE wasting money on movies that seem like the same crap that Hollywood puts out year after year. But I liked this movie. It wasn't without it's flaws, but I had fun with it. And even thought I'm sure it was a fed line, hearing Murray say that he regretted "Garfield" was the best moment of the movie. I see them making a sequel in a year or two, and I'm ok with that.
Only thing I didn't like was that they changed up the zombie rule; kill the head and the body will die. Which is why I feel "Shaun of the Dead" edges this out.

I thought the exact same thing! But I loved it...it reminded me of Picard taking out all the Borg with a Tommy Gun in one of the Star Trek movies.

hahaha honestly, that was my first thought as well. it just seemed so over the top insane that it worked. like, it had absoloutely no placement in the movie. it was just there because it was awesome.
also, I don't recall the "take out the head and the body falls" rule being amended in this film. in fact I seem to remember little rock shooting a zombie in the head at the end and it dying.

This movie was great. I saw a 3:30 showing with my girlfriend. There were 5 people in the theatre.

There's just something about Woody Harelson. I don't know what it is. He's just perfect.

Harrelson really is a great actor...the only thing I didn't like him in was Natural Born Killers, but that was only because the entire movie left a bad aftertaste in my mouth.

Finally saw this last night. Epic, epic movie.
Off topic, but after the movie my friend and I went to Hooley's, indulged in several pints of Guinness, Irish potato skins and fried shrimp and then (because I had never seen it and he insisted I needed to) we rented "Dawn of the Dead," which was also fantastic. What an awesome night.

Remake. Saw the original some time ago during a Romero marathon, but my friend convinced me the remake was worth seeing. It was. Highly entertaining, and the perfect movie to follow Zombieland with.

The new DotD is pretty good, but I HATE the ending. Then again, I hate any horror movie where everyone dies.
