The serie is technically called Kinnikuman, based on the manga of the same name. It had an anime and several animated movies.
And as intriguing as a Kinnikuman live action movie might sound, it'd be almost impossible to pull out right without removing its charm, since most of the stuff in it might not translate well in this PC era (It has a GOOD Nazi character for starters...).
